TRADITIONAL musician Ginatsia “Jah Lemmy” Nyanhete yesterday unleashed a single track titled Zimbe Remoto at Club 75 Ruyamuro in Guruve.

The launch of the album came together with his birthday bash.

The colourful event was supported by several upcoming artistes such as Elvis Butau and Mvurwi Challengers, Rudzii the First, Lion Eye, Cowboy, Chimunigeria, Bhonzo and Tryson Pamire as well as Lullaby Express.

Revellers mostly from Guruve growth point and surrounded communities packed Club 75 where Jah Lemmy and the supporting artistes did not disappoint.

An ecstasy Jah Lemmy told Standard Style that he wasn’t expecting such support from the people of Guruve.

“It is good to note that both fellow artistes and fans from the area I come from are supporting me,” he said.

“It gives me confidence to venture into some areas outside Guruve.”

Music promoter Moses Chirambiwa urged Jah Lemmy to be consistent and assist upcoming artistes.

“It is very pleasing to see a young man like Jah Lemmy growing in the music industry and what is so impressing is the fact that he is giving support to other upcoming artistes,” he said.

“Very few musicians would do that fearing competition.”

Jah Lemmy received a lot of goodies from the local business community and his fans who came along to be part of the launch.

National FM presenters Ezra Kaunda and Robson Umali graced the event..
