THE City of Kadoma has moved to strengthen its public outreach efforts with the appointment of a new communications manager.
The city has operated without a dedicated communication manager, a gap that has affected consistent public outreach.
According to the municipality, the appointment of Walter Ndlovu as its new communication manager was effective January 2026.
The appointment aims to improve transparency, service delivery, and community engagement for Kadoma residents.
In his new position, Ndlovu will be responsible for developing and implementing the city’s communication strategy, managing media relations, and ensuring clear and effective dissemination of municipal information.
Mayor Nigel Ruzario said the appointment reflected the council’s commitment to better public communication and involvement.
“We are dedicated to improving how we engage and inform residents,” said Ruzario.
The appointment of Walter Ndlovu as our communication manager will enable us to better inform and involve our residents in the decision-making process, ultimately leading to more effective and responsive governance.”
