A local ICT business solutions company, Kenac Computer Systems, won this year’s SADC Partner of the Year FY22/23 award at Lenovo’s Channel Awards held at the Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg last month.

Kenac, a Zimbabwean company founded by businessman and IT specialist Kennedy Ntini, won the prestigious Intelligent Services Gateway (ISG) SADC Partner of the Year award in addition to being an existing and only Platinum Lenovo and IBM Business Partner in Zimbabwe. Lenovo’s Platinum Partnership is the highest tier of its authorized partners and distributors.

The annual channel partner awards are hosted by global technology giant Lenovo – a multi-billion dollar PC manufacturer, computer systems and IT infrastructure solutions company – to celebrate its top performing partners and distributors in the region.

Kenac provides IT solutions for business clients in Zimbabwe and across the region. Its A list of clients – many of whom are listed on the Zimbabwe Stock Exchange – spans across multiple business sectors, including telecommunications, mining, banking, insurance, energy, beverages and manufacturing.

“We are very excited and grateful at winning this regional award. It is testimony of the hard work that our team puts in week in, week out, and it is a clear indicator that we are making an impact in our sector,” said Ntini.

“I would like to dedicate the award to all our clients and customers, without whom we would not have won this award. I would like them to know that this recognition will only inspire and motivate us to do more and to get even better at what we do,” he said.

The company was represented at the Lenovo Channel Awards by its head of sales and marketing, Kudakwashe Katsidzira.

Besides being a Lenovo Platinum and IBM Business Partner, offering both hardware and software solutions and warranty services for the same, Kenac is also a registered partner with some of the world’s best products, including HP, Cisco, Microsoft, HP, DELL, Cloudera, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Redhat, Karspesky, Veeam and VMWare, among many others.
