HWANGE have said they will not release their star player Francisco Zekumbawira to Dynamos until the later pays up.

SPORTS REPORTER

The Colliery side has agreed to loan the giant striker to the Harare giants on a one-year deal reportedly worth $20 000.

“We have agreed on everything and we are just waiting for Dynamos to transfer the money into our account. We will not release our player until we receive that money,” Hwange secretary Burzil Dube, said yesterday.

No official comment could be obtained from Dynamos yesterday, but a club executive member confided to NewsDay Sport that the money will be paid between today and tomorrow.

“The club has no money at the moment and that is the reason for the delay. We are expecting some funds today (yesterday) from the sale of Simba Sithole and Rodreck Mutuma from which we will forward some money to Hwange. Francesco should be in Harare by the end of this week,” the executive said.
