Thousands of Christians are expected to gather at the United Family International Church (UFIC) Basilica in Chitungwiza on Saturday for the Relentless Worship Encounter 2026, an afternoon dedicated to praise, worship and spiritual renewal.
Running from midday until 7pm, the annual non-denominational event seeks to unite believers from different churches and backgrounds in one atmosphere of worship, prayer and fellowship centred on Jesus Christ.
Leading the worship experience will be acclaimed gospel ministers Michael Mahendere and Hubert Chigumira, popularly known as Psalmist C. They will be joined by Ellard Cherai, Sharon Cherai, Larry Gunda, Sharon Rose Bishi, Kara Onyakuba, Ezekiel Paul, Siposenkosi "Snowy" from Harvest House Bulawayo, The Unveiled and the renowned UFIC Choir.
Speaking ahead of the gathering, Psalmist C said the heart of the event is to create an atmosphere where people can encounter God through sincere worship.
"People should come expecting an encounter of worship and praise of the Lord Jesus Christ. We are going all out in worship and we invite everyone to come ready to receive a blessing," he said.
Mahendere said worship has the power to bring believers together beyond denominational boundaries.

"Music unifies people. This is a non-denominational gathering where everyone is welcome to worship God together. Families can come, enjoy themselves and receive from the Lord as we lift the name of Jesus," he said.
Organisers said Relentless Worship Encounter continues to provide a platform where Christians can freely worship together, strengthening faith while fostering unity within the Body of Christ.
This year's programme brings together established worship leaders and emerging gospel ministers whose music continues to inspire congregations across Zimbabwe. Psalmist C is widely recognised for worship songs including In Your Presence, Most High, Latter Rain and Gore Racho, while Mahendere remains one of Zimbabwe's most respected worship ministers, known for songs that have become favourites in churches and Christian gatherings throughout the country.
Other participating ministers, including Ellard Cherai, Sharon Cherai, Larry Gunda, Sharon Rose Bishi, Siposenkosi "Snowy", Kara Onyakuba, Ezekiel Paul, The Unveiled and the UFIC Choir, are expected to lead worshippers in an afternoon of praise, worship and ministry.
Last year's edition attracted worshippers from across Zimbabwe, with many describing the gathering as a powerful time of worship, prayer and spiritual encouragement. Organisers say this year's programme has been expanded to build on that experience and provide even greater opportunities for believers to encounter God together.
Tickets are available through Med Orange Pharmacies nationwide, Hype Nation's online platform and by scanning QR codes on official event posters. Early bird tickets cost US$7, standard admission US$10, children's tickets US$5, VIP US$20 and VVIP US$50.
With its emphasis on Christ-centred worship, unity and fellowship, Relentless Worship Encounter 2026 is expected to bring together families, youth, church leaders and believers from across the country for an afternoon devoted to lifting the name of Jesus.
