FC PLATINUM new recruit Jarrison Selemani says he is not getting too excited by the hype he has received since joining the four-time champions.

The Dynamos ‘reject’ announced his arrival with aplomb after scoring and assisting in FC Platinum’s 2-0 win over Bulawayo Chiefs in the Castle Challenge Cup.

He had previously scored in a friendly against Masvingo United.

And as the 2023 PSL sets off this weekend, Selemani is hoping to manage the pressure of playing for FC Platinum.

"I'm honoured to be part of FC Platinum. Like always I'll do my best. My focus is on my game and the team. I won't focus on anything else except improving myself in this great team," he said.

The 23-year-old spent last season in Cranborne Bullets books where he was a top performer.

Selemani joined FC Platinum alongside Perfect Chikwende and Misheck Ngwenya.

With his arrival, coach Norman Mapeza is now spoilt for choice in the strikers department which also has Panashe Mutimbanyoka, Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya and Walter Musona.

FC Platinum also boast of other attackers who include Oscar Bhebhe and Innocent Mucheneka.
