BY SINDISO DUBE Kadoma miner-cum-author Talent Chiwaya – (24) says collaborations and partnerships are pivotal in entrepreneurship development especially among the youth.
Chiwaya said this ahead of his debut book launch set for August in the gold mining city of Kadoma.
Hunger for success and becoming a shining star is a book which presents a guide to entrepreneurship in a country where most youths are unemployed and resort to self-led businesses.
“I started writing this book in December last year and I have completed it. I have always wanted to do such a work and my early years in entrepreneurship inspired my new body of work,” he said.
“It’s a guideline of being an entrepreneur in this hard economy that we live in. I have learned from those who came before us and I thought of sharing it with my fellow young business people.”
Chiwaya said that partnerships and collaborations can help young people to achieve their goals.
“The business environment is already hard for young people to break into and make a mark. No one can and will do it on their own hence we are calling for young people to engage each other and do collaborations and partnerships in their respective business circles,” he said.
“Without collaborations we all perish and not reach our desired destinations.
