The cabinet meeting that President Mugabe called for this morning failed to take off after ministers snubbed the embattled 93 year old leader who has just been ousted by his Zanu PF party and faces impeachment in Parliament this afternoon.

Although NewsDay could not independently verify, Zimbabwe National Liberation War Veterans’Association (ZNLWVA) chairman Chris Mutsvangwa claimed that the only ministers who went for to the State House with the intention to attend the cabinet meeting were Mike Bimha, Happyton Bonyongwe, Walter Chidakwa, and Joseph Made.
