SUBSTITUTES Jairos Kasondo and Frank Agmeyang scored two beautiful goals to give Dynamos a deserved win against Bulawayo Chiefs in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match they dominated at Barbourfields yesterday.
Kasondo received a throw in on the right in the 79th minute and fired past Chiefs substitute goalkeeper Sydney Mozeka, igniting wild celebrations from the Dynamos’ fans at the Mpilo End.
Agmeyang came to the end of a cross from the right and nodded the ball past Mozeka in optional time to cement The Glamour Boys’ victory.
On Kasondo’s goal, the first assistant referee had raised his flag and after consultation, the centre referee Nelson Meke overruled that gesture and gave Dynamos the goal.

With two wins in the bag and a draw, Dynamos are now on seven points as they return home to host Agama.
Dynamos coach Genesis Mangombe is a happy man after the win.
“We responded very well to exactly what we wanted to do in this game. We said let’s go out and try to disrupt the opponent’s system,” he said.
“And that since they have won away, we knew it was going to be a very difficult game. We said we are going to press them high . . .
“We tried our best, but failed to score. We adjusted second half and it materialised. The boys responded to what we have been telling them at training.”
For Chiefs, coach John Nyikadzino said he takes responsibility for the defeat.
“I take full responsibility of the result. Dynamos had a better game plan than us,” he said.
“Their reactions were faster. They wanted it more than us. So as a coach, I will take full responsibility.
“The way forward is to go and correct our mistakes before we take on MWOS.”
The match was watched by Warriors coach Marian Marinica.
Dynamos’ Perfect Chikwende did well to ride over a tackle inside Chiefs’ half in the 22nd minute, but his lackadaisical approach at goal into the penalty box saw him quickly being dispossessed by Melikhaya Ncube.
After that, a panicky Chiefs substitute goalkeeper Mozeka was kept on his toes as DeMbare continued to bombard The Ninjas goal area, but the visitors would not get that goal.
An injured first choice goalkeeper Matriples Muleya was pulled out as early as the 10th minute.
On a counter-attack as Dynamos dominated the first half, Arthur Musiyiwa, for Chiefs, had his weak shot safely collected by Dynamos goalie Addrisson Nfor Finia on the half hour mark.
In the 36th minute, Dynamos’ Stanley Billiat watched his header sail over the crossbar, outstretching Mozeka from a well-taken free-kick by Anotida Gwatidzo from the left.
Mozeka rose from his slumber to make a save from DeMbare skipper Shadreck Nyahwa five minutes before the break as The Glamour Boys continued to wreak havoc.
The ball, at the Mpilo End, appeared to have crossed the line, and the Dynamos fans celebrated, but the players did not.
Mozeka made another spectacular save in the 55th minute, punching away a shot from inside the box by Billiat, who had received a long searching cross from the left.
Chiefs could have gotten a goal in the second minute after a Brian Muza solo run; the striker beating Collin Mujuru and coming face to face with the goalkeeper, but his effort was punched back to play by Nfor Finia.
Dynamos ransacked Chiefs in the last 10 minutes of the game and could have banged in more than two goals.
