RELEGATION-threatened Gunners face a mammoth task in their final push for Premiership survival when they face in-form Chicken Inn in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match at Lafarge Stadium tomorrow.
REPORT BY SUKOLUHLE MTHETHWA SPORTS REPORTER The survival of Gunners will also depend on the outcome of the match pitting equally-troubled Black Mambas and FC Platinum at Mandava Stadium tomorrow.
Gunners will be hoping for victory against Chicken Inn, while banking on FC Platinum to beat Mambas.
Black Mambas are fifth from the bottom on the log table, while Gunners are one position below with 31 points from 29 games.
Gunners are buoyant after getting a crucial 1-0 victory over Motor Action on Wednesday, while Black Mambas beat Hardbody 2-1 on the same day.
Coached by Warriors legend Adam Ndlovu, Chicken Inn will want to collect maximum points in the last game after dropping two points against Caps United on Wednesday in a 2-2 draw having first taken the lead.

However, despite the draw, Chicken Inn remained third with 50 points and a win for the Bulawayo side will see them ending on position three on the log table and claiming a place in the Caf Confederation Cup.
Gunners coach Moses Chunga believes he can still survive.
“We still have a chance to survive. It will depend on how we apply ourselves. We will not be looking at how other teams will play, but our own results because we put ourselves in that position. We are hoping to get a positive result,” he said.
Black Mambas coach John Ncube said they were also targeting victory at Mandava.
“The game against FC Platinum is going to be very tough because we are fighting relegation. We want to collect three points and we have to fight for ourselves and ensure that we maintain our position,” he said.
