AFTER a three-week break, the Lion Lager National Rugby League (NRL) resumes with Old Miltonians (OMs) facing a tough task against Old Georgians at Hartsfield Rugby Ground today.

OMs are home, but are underdogs against Old Georgians, who are yet to lose a match in the league, but coach Theo Weale says the break came in handy for his side.
The Bulawayo side have only won once in five matches, beating Zvishavane Bulls 27-13 at McAdams Fields on June 1 and today’s tie appears to be an insurmountable task.
Sitting on position two from the bottom, Weale said they have been working with the legendary Victor Olonga and Zivanai Dzinomurumbi during the break as they seek to turn around the fortunes of the club.
“The break did us good. Unlike the other clubs, our numbers have been increasing and we have been having full team training sessions and have managed to work out quite a lot.

“We are polishing up on training tonight (yesterday). Physically, we are prepared having worked on drills with Olonga and Dzinomurumbi on the technical side. Statistics are highly in Georgians’ favour, but we want to win the game although it is not going to be easy. We want to go out firing,” Weale said.
