Three MDC-T youths yesterday appeared at the Harare Magistrates’ Court facing charges of public violence.
BY MARY TARUVINGA
The suspects are Harare provincial youth assembly secretary for home affairs Lovemore Taruvinga, Chrispen Mundandi and Godrich Mucherera.
They were not asked to plead when they were arraigned before provincial magistrate Tendai Mahwe and were remanded in custody to today for bail application.
They were arrested on Monday on allegations of sparking violence in Kambuzuma.
The State alleges that on July 31, the three, together with others still at large, were going to an MDC-T rally in Kambuzuma Section 5 and on their way they barricaded a road at an intersection using tyres and rims, thereby disturbing movement of motor vehicles.
