THOUSANDS of desperate Bulawayo job seekers continue to hope for better times despite the grinding poverty and the seemingly unavailable chance of relief coming soon in Zimbabwe.

In Bulawayo, the country’s former industrial hub, hundreds of job hunters spend hours at Corner Fourth Avenue and Robert Mugabe way – hoping to get employment – where some companies randomly visit and employ causal workers.

The job-seekers include women and teen school dropouts.
