National police spokesperson Senior Assistant Commissioner Charity Charamba said few officers will be left in charge of the charge offices until the end of the festive season around mid-January.

Charamba said the law enforcement agents would be targeting public drinkers, perpetrators of violence, negligent drivers, touts and un-roadworthy vehicles.

“Some of the drivers of mushika-shika vehicles are robbers and we have evidence,” she said.
