Officials from Australia’s leading pharmaceutical companies, Acpharm, recently toured Chitungwiza hospital, as part of a fact-finding mission before finalising the deal.

The companies’ representatives, Matt Cholmers and Yasmira Alimed, said they were planning to set up a drug manufacturing plant at Chitungwiza Hospital, which would benefit the country’s health sector.
