The Central Province of Central Africa will converge at Africa Unity square tomorrow to remember the trials and tribulations they have gone through at the hands of excommunicated bishop Nolbert Kunonga, Diocesan Secretary Reverend Clifford Dzavo said yesterday.

Good Friday is observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday where Christians commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.

Dzavo told NewsDay that as the church commemorated what Jesus Christ went through, they would use the service to reflect on the persecution the church had suffered from Kunonga who had wrested church property.

We will hold a service on Good Friday to remember the suffering of Jesus Christ. Its also the time to reflect on human life, we will also reflect on our sufferings, said Dzavo.

To us its a reflection. We are not congregating in churches. We are outside. We are also being encouraged to remain faithful to our God and know that everything is going to be fine just as Jesus Christ never forgot His Father even when he was on the Cross, Dzavo said.
