PRIME Minister Morgan Tsvangirai yesterday advised a visiting delegation of Dutch business people to report to him any government ministers that approached them soliciting for bribes.

He said he would dismiss from government any ministers from his party that were found to have been corrupt.
“The key message to the international business was that the PM and the party he leads have zero tolerance towards corruption,” secretary for transitional affairs in the PM’s office, Alex Magaisa said after the meeting.
“He told them (businesspeople) he was aware that multi-national companies were the major fuel of corruption, but said he will act if he gets any report of corruption especially among his ministers.”
President Robert Mugabe recently warned ministers who were engaging in corruption, citing particular cases where information had reached him to the effect that his own ministers demanded bribes from companies. The information, he said, had come from former South African President Thabo Mbeki.
