Mtetwa was arrested on March 17 this year on allegation of obstructing the course of justice after she allegedly blocked police from searching her client Thabani Mpofu’s residence.

Mpofu had been arrested on allegations of impersonating as a police officer. He was a research director in former Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai’s office.

The State alleged that Mtetwa blocked the police from conducting searches at Mpofu’s offices and also insulted police officers, calling them Mugabe’s dogs.
