PRESIDENT Robert Mugabe’s sister, Bridgette, who died on Sunday after a heart failure will be buried today at the family home in Zvimba.

Bridgette died at the age of 79 after battling for life for more than three years at Parirenyatwa hospital where she was in a coma. Her body was taken to Zvimba yesterday where it lay in state awaiting burial this afternoon.

The church service took place at a local parlor with senior government officials, among them Justice minister Emmerson Mnangagwa, Women Affairs minister Oppah Muchinguri and Prosecutor General Johannes Tomana in attendance.

President Mugabe was reported to have already gone to Zvimba yesterday afternoon.

Meanwhile, condolences continued to pour in yesterday from different quarters.
