Scores of Zimbabweans and former workmates thronged the church to bid him farewell.
Recognisable in the congregation was Conrad Nyamutata and Jerry Nganjo who once worked with Munyavi when they were still in Zimbabwe.
Meanwhile, Munyavi’s widow Agnes said in a telephone interview in Harare yesterday that Munyavi’s body would arrive tomorrow evening aboard a South African Airways plane.
“Nyaradzo Funeral Parlour will then take charge and take the body to our house at number 3416 in Tynwald North near Westgate on Thursday before departure to Matsika Village in Rusape in the evening where he will be buried on Friday,” she said.
