BULAWAYO, Apr.24,2026 (NewsDay Live) -The Sterling Group has announced plans to expand its hospitality and tourism investments across Zimbabwe, including the development of a high-end eco-tourism resort in Victoria Falls, as it seeks to strengthen its footprint in the country’s growing tourism sector.
The announcement was made during a corporate event held on the sidelines of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) in Bulawayo on Thursday night, where the company also unveiled a new brand identity for its industrial catering and facilities management division, Fresh Delight.
Addressing guests at the event, company chairman, Wilbert Manyika, said his organisation's rapid growth was driven by partnerships and trust from clients.
“We stand here today as a young group, but one that has grown with purpose. That growth has not been a solitary journey. To our existing corporate partners and clients, thank you. Your trust has been the fuel for our trajectory,” Manyika said.
He welcomed new partners attending the event for the first time, saying the company was eager to expand its network as it continues to grow.
Manyika said the group’s operations were steadily expanding across Zimbabwe, with hospitality investments in several regions.

“The Sterling Group is proud of its deepening roots across Zimbabwe, from the heritage of Bulawayo, where we are hosting you now, to the bustling heart of Harare, to Mashonaland Central province, where we have a hotel and conferencing facility and a lakeside resort, and to the Lower Zambezi River at Kanyemba, where we operate the Sterling Kanyemba Resort,” he said.
He confirmed that the group is currently developing a top-end eco-tourism resort in Victoria Falls, a project aimed at promoting sustainable luxury while positioning Zimbabwe as a premier tourism destination.
The company also says it plans to launch Sterling Travel and Tours before year-end to provide integrated travel services for both corporate and leisure travellers.
The group also operates Capital Sterling Management, which focuses on capital mobilisation and investment support for its projects and potential partners.
Meanwhile, the unveiling of the new Fresh Delight logo marked a significant milestone for the company’s industrial catering and facilities management division.
“Innovation in hospitality is not just about rooms and resorts; it is about the essential services that keep industry moving,” Manyika said.
He added that the group has several additional projects in the pipeline that will be announced in the near future as it continues its expansion drive.
