BULAWAYO is set to host a three-day Christian gathering next month as South Africa-based Impact for Christ Ministries brings its gospel crusade to the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) Centre from July 3 to 5, 2026, with organisers saying the event is designed to encourage spiritual renewal, biblical teaching, worship and prayer for people from all walks of life.

The ministry’s founder and leader, Prophet Philip Banda, said the vision behind Impact for Christ Ministries is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ while creating opportunities for people to encounter God through the preaching of the Word, worship and prayer.

“We believe this crusade will be a time of spiritual encouragement, restoration, healing, renewed faith and hope for individuals, families and communities,” Banda said.

“Our expectation is that many lives will be touched by God’s love and that people will leave with a deeper relationship with Him.”

According to the organisers, attendees can expect three days of worship, Bible-centred preaching, corporate prayer and ministry sessions.

They say the programme will also include prayer for individuals seeking spiritual encouragement and guidance.

Banda said the gathering is open to everyone regardless of denomination, church affiliation or background.

“Whether someone has faithfully walked with God for many years or is simply searching for hope, they will be warmly welcomed,” he said.

Organisers are extending invitations to families, youths, church leaders, business executives, marketplace professionals, community leaders and residents from Bulawayo, across Zimbabwe and neighbouring countries.

Prayer will form a central part of the programme through the ministry’s Prayer Line, which Banda described as an important feature of its outreach.

“Prayer is at the heart of our ministry because we believe God hears and answers prayer.

“The Prayer Line allows people to receive personal prayer in an atmosphere of faith.

“Whatever challenges people may be facing, we encourage them to come believing that God is able to bring peace, hope, strength and restoration according to His will.”

Beyond the three-day programme, the ministry says it hopes participants will continue growing in their faith, strengthen family relationships, become active in their local churches and contribute positively to their communities.

The organisers said the crusade aims to encourage lasting spiritual growth rather than ending with the final service.

As preparations gather momentum, Banda encouraged residents of Bulawayo and visitors to attend with relatives, friends and neighbours.

“We extend a warm invitation to everyone to join us from July 3–5, 2026 at the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Centre.

“Come with expectation as we share God’s Word, worship together and pray for one another.

“We look forward to welcoming people from Bulawayo, across Zimbabwe and surrounding countries.”

Throughout Christian history, gospel crusades have provided opportunities for communities to gather around the message of hope, faith and reconciliation.

Such events often bring together people from different denominations, age groups and social backgrounds to worship collectively, hear biblical teaching and receive pastoral encouragement.

Supporters of crusades said these gatherings can strengthen personal faith, encourage forgiveness, rebuild broken relationships and inspire individuals to become more involved in community service and local church life.

Churches also view crusades as platforms for evangelism, discipleship and promoting values such as compassion, integrity, peace and unity.

In Zimbabwe, where churches play an important role in many communities, faith-based gatherings may contribute to social cohesion by encouraging volunteerism, family support and ethical leadership.

While the broader social impact of any individual crusade is difficult to measure, organisers believe sustained spiritual growth among participants can positively influence families, workplaces and communities over time.
