JOHANNESBURG — Previously with Generations, Sonia Sedibe will return to the silver screen after she inked a deal to appear on eTV’s Gold Diggers.

Sedibe will be in sound company, among veterans such as Tina Jaxa, Menzi Ngubane and Clementine Mosimane.
According to Sunday Sun, Sedibe was headhunted to appear on the show. A source says producers were so impressed with her work and realised she would draw a bigger audience.
“She’s one woman who masters her craft very well and it’s been great she has been brought on board,” one source said. Another source said Sedibe was a professional.
“She started shooting two months ago and already knows her story because she doesn’t even do retakes. We thought she was going to struggle in terms of getting into character or rehearsing her script for the show,” he said.
