Gallery Delta recently opened a painting exhibition titled “Land, Sea and Sky” which showcases landscape paintings by professional painters.
“I have selected young and old, professional and serious artists who are passionate about painting land and seascape views,” said Gallery Delta director and co-founder, Derek Huggins.
The exhibition that will run until end of the month, has numerous works from some of the most talented arists, including Arthur Azevedo, Justine Gope, Jean Hahn, James Jali, Rashid Jogee, Munyaradzi Mugorosa, Freddy Tauro and Tafirenyika Marekera ,amongst many others.
Some of the works include outstanding ones like Gope’s Mozambique Panorama 1 and 2, Summer at Mozambique Beach and The Horizon which are mixed media works depicting the natural view of a beach in Mozambique.
Other works include James Jali’s acrylic on canvas titled Msasa Forest, Rashid Jogee’s water colour and ink without frame titled Inner landscape, Kate Raath’s pastel without frame titled Rock near Chivhu and Diaqn Weight’s oil on card titled Taking Lions for a Walk.
Helen Kedgley from New Zealand and Ljiljana Vlacic from Croatia also have their works at the exhibition.

The exhibition’s display is a must see for those that love nature. It requires good observation and design skills and the meticulously done paintings clearly reflect the artists’ ability to understand the elements of nature.
