After their parents’ demise, the duo was raised by relatives and well-wishers from the neighbourhood, who were touched by their situation.

The Precious Children’s Arts Organisation (PICA) will mark the event, in collaboration with the National Arts Council of Zimbabwe — Harare province, SAYWHAT and Padare.

The Zimbabwean creative won the award for his mbaure music, which he said was a refined form of sungura.
