The Premier Soccer League Disciplinary committee has handed a hefty $5000 fine to Caps United for causing the abandonment of their League tie against FC Platinum earlier this season.
FC Platinum, who were leading 1-0 when the match was abandoned, have been awarded 3 points on a 3-0 scoreline. Caps United coach Lloyd Chitembwe who branded match referees as "stupid" was fined $400 for his post-match comments.
