BULAWAYO, Apr. 24 (NewsDay Live) - Indonesian company, Wings, has taken up space at this year’s Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF) to showcase and open new markets for its fast-moving consumer goods.

Company representative Madeline Madziwanika said their participation at ZITF underscores the firm’s commitment to expanding into new markets and building strategic relationships.

“We came to exhibit at ZITF and to look for a distribution partner who can help us introduce our products into Zimbabwe,” she said.

The company manufactures a wide range of fast-moving consumer goods, including cappuccino beverages, detergents, and instant noodles, which it hopes to introduce to the Zimbabwean market.

Wings already has operations in South Africa and wants to open new frontiers in Zimbabwe as part of its regional expansion strategy.

“Our goal is to find a reliable partner and grow our brand in Zimbabwe. Once we establish ourselves, we also plan to create employment opportunities, particularly in sales and distribution,” she said.

The participation of Wings at ZITF highlights increasing international interest in Zimbabwe’s market, with global companies seeking to tap into local demand and investment opportunities.
