Brother In House Zimbabwe to launch Sunday night

Brother In House reality show launches on Sunday night

Zimbabwe's newest reality television production, Brother In House Zimbabwe, officially launches on Sunday evening in Harare, with 33 contestants set to enter the specially customised house where they will spend the next three months competing for glory in what organisers hope will become the country's biggest home-grown reality show.

The official launch, to be held at a local hotel, will introduce the housemates to the media, sponsors, invited guests and the public before they make their ceremonial entry into the Brother In House Zimbabwe House.

Deputy Minister of Tourism and Hospitality Industry, Tongai Mnangagwa, is expected to officiate at the event.

Although the programme has already been running for the past five weeks on digital platforms, Sunday's event marks its official public unveiling and signals the beginning of the competition's next phase.

Produced by Intelligent Excellence Recognition (IER), Brother In House Zimbabwe brings together contestants from diverse backgrounds who will live under one roof while competing in a series of weekly tasks and challenges. As the competition unfolds, viewers can expect strategic alliances, friendships, rivalries, emotional moments and weekly evictions determined through public voting.

Organisers say the production is designed to celebrate Zimbabwean talent, culture and diversity while creating opportunities for emerging creatives in the country's fast-growing entertainment industry.

"Brother In House Zimbabwe is more than a reality television programme. It is a platform that celebrates Zimbabwean talent, resilience and creativity while giving ordinary Zimbabweans an extraordinary opportunity to share their stories with the nation and the world," the organisers said.

The reality show follows months of nationwide auditions that attracted widespread interest from aspiring contestants across Zimbabwe. Since its soft launch, the programme has steadily gained momentum as audiences embrace a locally produced reality television format.

Beyond providing entertainment, the production seeks to contribute to Zimbabwe's creative economy by promoting local content and showcasing the country's cultural richness to audiences at home and in the diaspora.

Viewers will be able to follow the housemates around the clock through digital platforms, with opportunities to influence the outcome of the competition through interactive audience participation and public voting.

Organisers say additional details on the competition format, broadcast schedule, voting procedures and sponsorship partnerships will be announced during Sunday's official launch.

With 33 personalities preparing to share one house under constant public scrutiny, Brother In House Zimbabwe is positioning itself as one of the country's most ambitious entertainment productions, promising months of drama, competition and unforgettable moments.
