Dynamos captain Emmanuel Jalai has been selected among the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League Best XI players, a few days after helping the club survive relegation on the final day of the season.

The list chosen by the panel selectors, which comprises journalists, team captains and coaches, also includes the league's top scorers Telone's Washington Navaya (17 goals) and Tymon Machope (16 goals), who plays for champions Scottland FC.

Highlanders defender Andrew Mbeba also made the list despite the club also struggling throughout the season and had to survive relegation on the final day.

The biggest surprise is MWOS FC's Aboubakar Moffat who joined the club midseason and did enough to impress the selectors, helping the league debutants to a second-place finish.

There was selection for the Soccer Star of the Year, Coach of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Goalkeeper of the Year.

The winners will be revealed at the Soccer Stars banquet next week.
