ALL roads lead to Ascot Stadium in Gweru, where the 2025 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) champions, Scottland FC, are set to be coronated following their season finale against hosts TelOne FC this afternoon.
It will be a day of pomp, fanfare and history as the newcomers complete their extraordinary journey.
It has been a truly memorable debut season for Scottland, who captured the prestigious title with two matches to spare, overcoming a tough first half of the season to finish the campaign strongly.
With the TelOne match purely academic in terms of the championship, Scottland will be aiming to finish the season on a high, targeting a final tally of 69 points from 34 matches.
While the trophy is guaranteed for the visitors, their opponents, TelOne FC, have everything to play for.
Currently sitting in fifth place with 54 points from 33 matches, TelOne will be looking to get maximum points and steal a place in the coveted top four.

They will be hoping to leapfrog Ngezi Platinum Stars (55 points), who have a tricky encounter against second-placed MWOS FC at Ngoni Stadium today.
The match is also crucial for Scottland’s striker, Tymon Machope, who is in a thrilling race for the Golden Boot award.
He currently sits two goals behind leader TelOne’s Washington Navaya, who has 17, and will be looking for a match-winning performance to snatch the top scorer’s gong.
The coronation holds special significance for coach Tonderai Ndiraya, who is set to celebrate his second consecutive PSL title, having won the league last year with Simba Bhora.
For Scottland FC, it marks a second consecutive league crown for the club, as they were the champions of the Northern Region Soccer League just last year — a staggering rise to the top of Zimbabwean football.
To add to the monumental celebration, the Premier Soccer League announced earlier in the week that sungura king Alick Macheso will provide the live entertainment for Scottland’s historic coronation day, promising fans a spectacular show to cap off an unforgettable season.
