A 12th-minute goal by Masimba Mambare kept wasteful Highlanders in contention for the championship as they edged Buffaloes in a Castle Lager Premiership football match at Barbourfields Stadium as the 2012 league season heads for the climax.
Highlanders displayed a classy performance, a significant improvement from their last few games, and outclassed the army side, but could have scored more than five goals in the first half.
