BLACK RHINOS made the most of territorial advantage by overcoming visitors How Mine with a narrow 1-0 win in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League match played at Rimuka Stadium yesterday.
Nesbert Padzarondera’s solitary strike in the second half was all Black Rhinos needed to collect maximum points.
The result took the host’s points tally to 15 in as many matches while the visitors remain with 22 points from the same number of games after losing their third game in a row.
After the match, the winning coach Arthur Tutani could not hide his joy. “I am very impressed with the performance and very happy with the result as well. We played long balls which were a change of tactics from the Dynamos game and it worked perfectly,” said Tutani.

Isheunesu Chaka of How Mine who was standing in for his boss Philani Ncube commended his charges though in a losing cause.
“We played well, but that silly goal we conceded was the turning point. We were playing away from home and the result did not go our way,” said Chaka.
The host completely dominated their visitors from the outset with their target man Lot Chiwunga getting four clear cut chances in the opening twenty minutes, but failed to find a way past Donovan Bernard who was left exposed on numerous occasions by his defence.
Fifteen minutes into the second half Padzarondera unleashed a thunderous long range shot after the visitors’ defence had cleared the ball into his path to give Chipembere the deserved lead.
