LOCAL Government minister Saviour Kasukuwere has suspended Bulawayo deputy mayor Gift Banda and four other councillors while the remaining others face the same fate over corruption allegations.

Banda was suspended alongside councillors Charles Moyo (ward 9), JamesSithole (ward 7), Mzama Dube (ward 25) and Reuben Matengu (ward 21).
Addressing Bulawayo councilors at the council chambers, Kasukuwere said he was not yet done with city fathers over a wide range of issues, warning the axe will be-fall many.
