A South Africa-based welfare group, Gift of the Givers Foundation, will next month hand over several medical goods and foodstuffs to underprivileged communities around the country.
Spokesperson of the group Josey Mahachie said the group would make its first stopover in Beitbridge and later proceed to Gutu and Kwekwe.
They will start at Beitbridge Hospital where they intend to donate wheelchairs, bed linen and nappies among other things on March 16, Mahachie said.
The following day the foundation will be at Ndawi Clinic in Gutu where they will donate food, clothes, shoes and blankets to the villagers and there shall be a friendly soccer match for the villages, she added.
The group is also expected to visit Gutu Mission and Mukaro Mission in Gutu where they are expected to donate wheelchairs, before proceeding to Kwekwe.
Mahachie said the group would introduce a ready-to-eat food supplement called sibusiso, which is manufactured in Malawi.
