A search is being conducted for a man who disappeared in the Victoria Falls rain forest on Sunday.
The Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZPWMA) yesterday said Tinashe Chitambo disappeared after having lunch with his sister at Shearwater Restaurant.
“After lunch, Tinashe decided to have another tour of the falls leaving behind his sister,” the authority said in a statement.
“Afterwards, a client came to the entrance gate and reported to the security ranger that he had seen a man loitering around the falls.
“A team was sent to the area to check for the man and the search did not yield any results as Tinashe was nowhere to be seen.”
ZPWMA said it was working with the police to search for Chitambo. Police were not immediately available for comment.
