JOHANNESBURG — Pretoria police are searching for a man who allegedly masterminded the kidnapping and murder of an Alexandra woman.

The 29-year-old mother of three was abducted by three men at her beauty salon over a week ago. Her body was recovered near the Mabopane Highway.
Police say her kidnappers had shot her twice in the head and dumped her body on Thursday last week.
The woman’s husband, Abdul Rashid, says her family was still in shock after her body was discovered.
“They are very hurt. They are crying.” He claims the woman was abducted by a man who used to work at one of their businesses.

The police said three men were arrested after being found in possession of the woman’s car.
“They appeared in court on Friday and their next appearance is on Thursday.” A Somali national, who is believed to be behind the kidnapping, has allegedly fled to Zimbabwe.
