MULTICHOICE — which operates the DStv Satellite Television service in Zimbabwe — this week launched a new and affordable digital television service, GOtv, in Harare. The television’s signal will be transmitted by local company, Transmedia.

Multichoice chief executive officer Lovemore Mangwende on Wednesday said he was delighted to launch GOtv in Harare.

“GOtv is on a new technology platform called digital terrestrial television (DTT) and is a product of MultiChoice. This launch marks a major pioneering step in our journey to make DTT services a household name in our country,” he said.
