WOMEN in Theatre and Television (WITT) is set to premiere a new play titled Let It Out on Friday, in commemoration of the 16 Days of activism against gender-based violence at the Bulawayo Art Gallery.

The premiere is set to be spiced with poetry, music and dance.
The play runs for an hour and takes a modern outlook to theatre, consisting of a collection of pieces of theatre, intertwined together to tell different stories of different women in society.
Nhimbe Trust communications manager, Ronald Moyo, said the play is about modern women with different personalities and backgrounds, but are brought together by fate.
“Most of these women meet in a queue while waiting to be served by a well-known prophet in the city and they share their secrets, which brings tears and laughter, while others claim their freedom in the house,” he said.

The play is co-produced and co-written by Thembelihle Moyo, Nonhlalo Dube and Nomashawekazi Damasane.
The cast is made up of Sarah Mpofu–Sibanda, multi-talented artiste, Damasane, an experienced actress who has starred in the ZBC television series Makorokoza, Precious Makulumo, seasoned theatre and television actor, Gift Chakuvinga, an actress who recently featured in the production, Without A Name, Nomvuyiso Mpofu and actress and musician Qeqeshiwe Mntambo.
