Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe has been named the Best Transaction Bank in Zimbabwe at the 2025 Euromoney Transaction Banking Awards held recently in London.
The award recognises the bank’s standout performance in transaction banking and reaffirms its commitment to offering innovative, reliable and customer-focused solutions that support businesses nationwide.
The Euromoney awards honour global leaders in cash management, payments, trade finance and financial technology. Winners are determined through rigorous research, including data analysis, peer benchmarking and direct engagement with market participants.
Stanbic’s recognition places it among a distinguished group of international financial institutions celebrated across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas.
This latest accolade adds to a growing list of honours Stanbic has earned in 2024 and 2025 for excellence, innovation and industry leadership.
In November, the bank received the Banking Excellence Award at the Top Companies Survey 2025, sponsored by Old Mutual. It was also named Best Investment Bank Zimbabwe by the Global Banking and Finance Awards, highlighting its strength in strategic financial solutions.

Earlier this year, Stanbic won the Best New Product or Innovation of the Year from the Marketers Association of Zimbabwe for its Online International Payments solution, underscoring its focus on digital transformation.
Its customer-first approach has also been recognised. The bank received the Best Customer Service Bank 2025 award from the Customer Experience Association of Zimbabwe, and in June it was named Best Banking Brand Zimbabwe 2025 by Global Brands Magazine.
