Ecobank Zimbabwe is set to strike a chord for community empowerment with the launch of “Vault of Voices”, a groundbreaking Pan-African choir competition designed to celebrate diversity, unity and inclusion through the power of song.

The four-month initiative, which forms a key part of the bank’s corporate social responsibility agenda, aims to identify, nurture and showcase musical talent from disadvantaged communities across the country.

The programme is designed not only to entertain, but also to uplift communities by providing a national platform for undiscovered artistes.

The initial call for auditions, which closed on October 15, 2025, reportedly generated an overwhelming response from the public, with choirs and singing groups from all corners of Zimbabwe expressing keen interest.

“We are thrilled by the incredible enthusiasm we have seen from communities nationwide,” Ecobank Zimbabwe said in a statement.

“The ‘Vault of Voices’ is more than just a competition; it is a testament to our commitment to the spirit of Ubuntu and our investment in the cultural fabric of Zimbabwe.
