My Dear People,
The calls for Scarfmore’s birthday—deliberately made to coincide with Munhumutapa Day—to become a national holiday have laid bare the delusions of grandeur and shameful desperation for validation for the octogenarian.
The recent shrill cries from the bootlickers of the Scarfed One for the day to be made a national holiday are as pitiful as they are laughable, particularly as Scarfmore’s catastrophic leadership has no bearing on the successful reign of the Munhumutapa empire.
Unlike the successes recorded by the Munhumutapa Empire, the Scarfed One’s leadership has been littered with entrenched poverty, a deteriorating health sector, embarrassing constitutional gaffes, currency failures, and unemployment, among other numerous ills.
The push for the day, which falls on September 15, to be made a national holiday is, of course, being made to rival Youth Day, which falls on the birthday of the former wisdom-imbued leader, Gushungo.
The ridiculous attempt to deify the Scarfed One is a scandalous attempt to justify calls to further butcher the constitution and allow Scarfmore’s vapid leadership to burden Zimbabweans until 2037.
Such has been the madness that some buffoon has declared that the Scarfmore regime should be turned into a monarchy.
Such foolish utterances are further evidence of how the country has turned into a banana republic at the hands of a regime that clings to power through guns and tanks, as well as dodgy elections which have even appalled that toothless regional body known as Sadc.
Munopengaaa!!!
The mid-term budget presentation, in which the regime tried to paint a rosy picture of economic growth despite the alarming fall in the standards of living for the majority of the country’s citizens, unwittingly revealed the budget overrun by the office of the Scarfed One by nearly 50 per cent.
Scarfmore’s office, in the first half of the year, spent almost 80 percent more than the health ministry, which superintends public hospitals that have become death traps and poorly paid health workers.
This embarrassing revelation shows the skewed priorities that characterise this dispensation of poverty, darkness, and confusion.
The Nutty Professor’s pathetic attempts to explain the shameful state of affairs—by pointing out that the expenditure was a “deliberate approach to centrally managing selected strategic national programmes and projects” through the office of the Scarfed One—has been widely dismissed as a load of nonsense.
Budget overruns have become commonplace under this so-called Second Republic; not so long ago, the inept regime blew 118% of the budget for national chiefs, spent on purchasing state-of-the-art vehicles for the traditional leaders at a time when public hospitals were experiencing an acute shortage of basic drugs, with one major public health institution operating with just one ambulance.
This, my dear people, was the symbolic leadership you celebrated in that dark year of 2017!
Munopengaaa!!!
The efforts by the Scarfmore regime to stifle freedom of expression, as evidenced on July 31—which had been set for demonstrations—is an indication of just how fearful the regime is of its own people.
Many used to criticise the telescopic leadership of Gushungo, who would allow the country’s citizens to demonstrate—within reason, of course. How you must yearn for his leadership now in the face of this dispensation, which does not even allow one-man demonstrations!
After threats and flooding the city centre with truncheon-wielding police to prevent demonstrations, the dispensation of poverty, darkness, and confusion had the temerity to thank Zimbabweans for not heeding the call for demonstrations against the sinister desecration of the supreme law of the land for the selfish interests of extending the incompetent leadership of the Scarfed One without the niceties of elections.
Such is the fear of this regime of democratic expression that even members of the grouping set up to fight the pillaging of the constitution continue to be threatened through crude means, such as letters with bullets and vulgar graffiti on the durawalls of the houses of the members of the grouping.
Indeed, under the Scarfmore regime, democracy has been shamefully equated to blasphemy.
So much for the declaration that the voice of the people is the voice of God.
Munopengaaa!!!
The Commonwealth Games, which were held recently, captured global attention as the world’s top athletes competed for gold, silver, and bronze medals.
What captured my attention, though, was not the memorable competitiveness of various athletes in the various sporting disciplines; it was the fact that the Scarfmore regime has failed to rejoin the Commonwealth after being told ad nauseam that the magic touch of Scarfmore’s re-engagement drive would soon have us back in the Commonwealth.
Needless to say, after the butchering of the country’s constitution and increased repression that has been condemned by Amnesty International, the country’s chances of gaining readmission into the Commonwealth are as good as expecting snow to fall in Zimbabwe
Munopengaaaa!!!
Stop It!
