My Dear People
The great patriots, who founded Zanu PF, must be turning in their graves seeing the likes of Weaknell and Temptor now calling the shots in the party of independence.
I bet our liberation greats such as Joshua Nkomo, Josiah Tongogora, Alfred Nikita Mangena, Dumiso Dabengwa and Ndabiningi Sithole, to mention just a few, did not see this coming.
Gushungo, however, foresaw the disaster that was being ushered in through the power grab by Lacoste in 2017, but I don’t think he ever imagined the ruining party plunging into these depths.
Zanu PF has been successfully hijacked by very dangerous people.
If anyone had any doubts that the ruining party is now a shell then the drama unfolding in Manicaland should be proof beyond reasonable doubt.
The drama started with the hastily organised provincial development committee (PCC) meeting last weekend, which we are told was convened without following party regulations.
Temptor was allegedly coopted unanimously into the central committee to fill a vacancy that was created by the departure of Dorothy Mabika, who is now the ruining party’s women’s league in Manicaland.
A few days later the commissar Munyaradzi Machacha wrote to the PCC nullifying the alleged cooption, which he said contravened a circular by the legal affairs department of June 30.
He effectively ordered the PCC to go back to the drawing board.
However, the most stinging part of the letter that might have gone unnoticed is where Machacha said: “You are requested to ensure that until this matter is resolved and Chipinge district has made a decision, any activities that involve issuance of money, goods or services by aspiring candidates will be deemed as vote buying and as such will lead to automatic disqualification.”
This was not something that was just said out of the blue.
Temptor was not discreet in his vote buying spree and it did not come as a surprise when members of the PCC stampeded to endorse his elevation to the central committee.
The developments alarmed some bigwigs in the province including Mr Bin, who posted on X saying he supported Machacha’s decision “one hundred percent, indeed wholeheartedly, for the reasons given and more.”
Before Mr Bin’s post aged, Chris was addressing a press conference saying the politburo will settle Temptor’s issue and that the PCC’s decision will be respected.
He actually threw Mr Bin and Machacha under the bus as he signalled that the Manicaland PCC will prevail.
That was obvious because we all know who Temptor is, don’t we?
What the two inadvertently did was to beat a dog until its owner came out through Chris kikikikikiki
The other thing is that Machacha and Mr Bin are tying themselves in knots because disqualifying Temptor would expose them in the way they coopted the SDA elder into the central committee a few months ago.
The elder would be guilty of all the charges they are laying on Temptor, including that he used money to buy his way into the central committee and that he came from outside the zone where a vacancy had arisen.
It’s just a mess. Its dogs’ breakfast.

The zvigananda faction in the ruining party is forging ahead with its 2030 nonsense despite clear public sentiment that tampering with the constitution would not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Ziyambi Ziyambi, one of the mafikizolos who were thrust into the party’s leadership after the Lacoste coup, says he will gazette the proposed amendments to the constitution to allow for the extension of Ngwena’s term by two years during the festive season.
Ziyambi, alongside Daniel Garwe and Tatenda Mavetera, have been pushing the 2030 agenda for their own political survival.
Ngwena, who in 2018 told CNN’s Christiane Amanpour, that he will not stay a day longer when his two terms expire, is being forced to hang on to power until 2030 because he has done such a great job in leading this country, so we are told. Kikikikikii

Sabhuku, who used to claim that he was an independent politician, needs to be careful or he will end up biting the hand that feeds him by running his mouth too much.
Last week he waded into the Manicaland dirty politics with one of his regular essays this time directed to Temptor’s cooption into the central committee.
I liked how he opened his essay and I want to quote it here verbatim.
He said: “It's sad how the Manicaland provincial leadership succumbed to their greed inducing them to act against the party's constitution, which states that the said position was reserved for a woman who should also be from the same administrative district.
“I do not blame Tungwarara, but the Manicaland leadership which has exposed its insatiable hunger for money.
“When did a man become a woman for them to make such a greedy blunder?
“The whole episode, which is a clear strategic blunder deriving from poor political astuteness, reveals the limitations of depending on money as a political weapon.” Kikikkiki
Wise words from Sabhuku, but my friendly warning is that he must not get carried away because he will inadvertently expose big people behind this charade in the ruining party and that will not end well. Kikikikiki
