June 03, 2026 was a historic day for us. It was the day that a record 182 of the United Nations (UN)’s 191-member countries voted in support of Zimbabwe’s bid to become a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council (UNSC).
This hands-down victory came despite the hostility of the evil West, some of whose members have maintained illegal sanctions on this fast-developing country. This was all because the outside world — the world that really matters — has been closely watching the miracles that have been taking place in Harare since the good Lord blessed the country with the able ownership of Owner, and there is “no iota of doubt” that this is a seal of approval for Owner & Co.
It is no ordinary accident of coincidence that this UN approval coincided with the outcome of the nation-wide public consultations on CAB3 that showed that an overwhelming majority of Zimbos do not even want to hear of suggestions that Owner should go away … it shows that the good Lord is too pleased with the good job that Owner is doing in the hereabouts, and has decided to extend his influence a little bit further.
Let there not be any feigned confusion here … the UN vote was not about Zimbabwe as a country, but Owner as a person. It was a vote for Owner in his personal capacity as the personal Owner of the country. If this was just about the country minus Owner’s exceptional leadership qualities, we can assure you that the results would have been something else … if not a total disaster.
This serves to buttress the point that Muckraker has always been hammering on, that Owner should be given more time to perform more miracles for his people and country … and now even the world.
His runaway popularity at the UNSC vote is testimony of the high esteem that the world holds him in. They have been watching with envy from a distance the miracles that he has been performing for his country and people since his arrival a few years ago, and when a chance presented itself for them to also benefit from his Midas Touch, they did not need to think twice.
The world knows good leaders when it sees them. And Owner is certainly one such, a peerless leader that the world can’t afford to lose. So, they snapped him at the first chance!
From the look of things, once Owner uses the country’s UNSC two-year position to demonstrate how an exceptional leader he is, chances are very high that by the end of the two years, Zimbabwe would have been upgraded to a permanent UN member with full veto powers, a dream that forlorn Africa has always considered too far to fondle. Not with Owner … the man who is a blessing and a half to all those with eyes to see.

Sadly, just as was in the case of Jesus Christ, who most of those in his hometown never took even half seriously, the people in this country are bribed by the evil West into seeing nothing good about Owner … they accuse him of anything and everything, but thankfully, that doesn’t change the reality on the ground … the reality that Owner is the best leader in the world.
It is for this very reason that progressive Zimbos have solidly supported CAB3, which set the stage for him to rule and live for longer…
If a lowly post such as the chairmanship of Sadc was celebrated with that much pomp and fanfare (that we even ended up squandering children’s Basic Education Assistance Module (BEAM) funds) we can’t wait for the celebrations for this UNSC post to start.
We certainly have all the valid reasons to celebrate our tails off … with our landing of this Eucharistic UN post, all the problems that our people have ever faced will fade into distant memory. Zimbos will become richer than the dream of Croesus … a real cause for celebrations!
Curious demolitions
The bitingly cold winter season has arrived, unfailingly. With it too has the house demolitions season also unfailingly arrived, for these have to coincide with either the rainy or cold seasons to ensure that those doing the demolitions do not lose too much sweat. This time around, we are told that the demolitions, which started in the Stoneridge area of Harare South, are targeting not less than 5 000 properties — for now.
Among some of the main reasons for these demotions are that the houses were either built illegally or on privately-owned land. This takes us straight to the always emotive question in this country … that of land. Who owns the land, and how did they come to own it?
Sometime last year, the courts issued an order for the release of the findings of the Justice Tendai Uchena Commission of Inquiry into the Sale of State Land in and around Urban Areas. Citizens had to resort to this route because authorities had decided to sit on the report years after it had been submitted.
We are told that report revealed massive systemic corruption around urban areas and the resultant loss of billions of dollars. Which obviously explains why they were not excited about releasing the report. The billion-dollar question is always this: how did individuals end up with thousands of hectares of land around Harare, some of which are now being passed on as wedding gifts, when most of that land is supposed to be owned by the state, which seized most of it from white former commercial farmers?
How and when did title for this land pass to these individuals who now have the court-sanctioned powers to carry out these demolitions … or parcel out this land to some nationals?
Isn’t this the usual case of some animals being more equal than others? About a decade ago, in January 2016 to be exact, when hundreds of families had their houses demolished at Arlington Estate near Robert Mugabe International Airport, the main reason was that of “Aviation Safety and Red Zone Violations”.
In short, it was pointed out that the residential development overlapped within a designated “red zone” crucial for the operations and safety of the airport. Authorities cited violations of the Civil Aviation Act and the Airports Company of Zimbabwe Act, arguing that residential properties near the airport pose a severe hazard to aviation and resident safety … blah, blah!
A decade later, go to that area and see the upmarket houses that replaced those cheap ones that were razed … all built in the name of aviation safety!
World-class rot
As Harare residents have decided to celebrate the city’s attainment of world-class status by getting busy dying in sewerage ponds, some Zimbos who are so fond of blaming are trying to lay the blame on Cde Doink, the first resident himself.
Being a graduate of the famous Herbert Chitepo School of (Destructive) Ideology, Cde Doink — a personal deployee of Owner — is doing a wonderful job ensuring that the city maintains its newly attained status as the Rot Capital of the World, a real world-class achievement. The city is but just a microcosm of the country. Everything in this country is rotten, just as a fish starts rotting from the head.
Everything points upwards!
Another lapse?
National Railways of Zimbabwe (NRZ) chief executive officer Cde Munyaradzi Stephen Charangwa was reported to have resigned on medical grounds early this month, just over two months after taking office. He assumed the role on April 1, 2026, marking the first executive appointment under the state-owned operator’s new CEO structure.
Zimbos being Zimbos, Muck overheard some of them yawning aloud that the chap was given the boot on polite medical grounds after it emerged that he was not patriotic (read Tsegu) enough.
Some jobs are reserved for real Vene, but since the advent of the Second Republic, it has not been unusual for the system to suffer serious and embarrassing security lapses.
We are told that this was one of those … so the appointment had to be reversed. Zimbos and their lies!
