A Cross-border haulage carrying a granite rock has crashed into the bus terminal of the new Beitbridge Border Post coming a few meters shy of ripping into the Immigration and Customs and Excise offices.
Noone has been injured.

Witnesses said the truck left unattended in the south-bound parking area moved driverless and broke through a fence, jumped a ditch and broke electronic devices as it raced towards the public clearance hall some 50 meters away.

Helped by the gradient the truck gathered speed but was stopped by a baggage scanner and a punctured tyre which brought it to a halt.
