Seven Seas wins OK Grand Challenge

This year saw a very exciting line up of 18 competitive horses in the OK Grand Challenge over 1800m.

BY STAFF REPORTER FIVE-YEAR-OLD mare Seven Seas captured the US$70 000 OK Grand Challenge after a thrilling photo finish to shrug off a determined effort from Castle Tankard winner True Beauty, who finished second at Borrowdale Park yesterday.

Holy Land finished in third place.

This year saw a very exciting line up of 18 competitive horses in the OK Grand Challenge over 1800m.

Trained by Gokhan Terzi and owned by Christopher Peech, -Seven Seas was bred by Digleby Stud and has now won five races.

Four-year-old True Beauty was giving the winner 5kgs and was gallant in defeat.
