VICTORIA FALLS-BASED model, who is also the reigning Mr Zimbabwe, Future Nyoni says he is excited to host his first ever project in the resort town, the Victoria Falls Fun Fair.

The event to be hosted at Chinotimba Stadium will be held between April 15 and 18.

In an interview with Standard Style, Nyoni said the event would be big and would revolve around various themes.

“I can’t wait for the new project,” he said.

“The event is going to have various themes for each day in order to reach out to a larger audience.

“Within the show, there will be a modelling competition, Halloween, African culture, vintage wear apparel and colorful outfits.”

Nyoni said the Victoria Falls Fun Fair was meant to bring together the young and the old people so that they appreciate modelling and the diverse cultures.

He said he hopes the fun fair would attract both local and foreign tourists.

“We are also hoping that we will attract both local and foreign tourists that will have come to the resort town for the Easter holiday,” Nyoni said.

The reigning Mr. Zimbabwe said he was appealing for financial and material support to make the event a success.

“I wish I could say a big name that would be promoting the show, but the truth is that there are no big organisations or promoters behind this fun fair as of now. so we are appealing to those who are willing to assist us to come on board,” he said.

“So, far the event is being organised by a group of young people with only one purpose to provide and share the means to a better future for everyone,” he said.

“If there is anything big so far it is the mindset behind the fun fair.”

Nyoni, however, said they have organisations they are in partnership with and these included Kids Entertainment, Miss Cassy for Legends of Dance, Invimbi Arts, Colour Fusion and Punchu Punchu.

Nyoni, who is a civil servant, started professional modelling in 2017 after he was groomed by former Miss Zimbabwe Samantha Tshuma at her Open Eye Studio in Bulawayo.
