Fresh Kambucha bags entrepreneurship award

Fresh Kambucha won the gold medal in the food marketing category at a colourful event which was held in Harare on Friday.

Herbal beverages maker, Fresh Kambucha, yesterday scooped a gold medal at the 2023 Annual National Iconic Entrepreneurship Awards ceremony, which was organised by the Entrepreneurs Network of Zimbabwe.

Fresh Kambucha won the gold medal in the food marketing category at a colourful event which was held in Harare on Friday.

The awards ceremony, which ran under the theme “Building transgenerational wealth”, was graced by Women Affairs minister Monica Mutsvangwa. 

In recognition of the award Fresh Kambucha marketing executive Felo Felo said the award was testimony to their fairy tale in the dog-eat-dog beverages business.

“As Fresh Kambucha we are very excited to receive this award as we are making a healthy product which is being accepted by people in the country and at the same time we are creating employment,” Felo said.

“We have managed to set ourselves away from other brands that are mimicking our product while doing other dubious things which affects our company’s name.”

Fresh Kambucha brand ambassador Sir Calaz also attended the awards ceremony.

Fresh Kambucha has been complaining about counterfeit products that have flooded the market, tarnishing their image.

Recently they changed branding on their packaging to fight counterfeit products.

Teecherz Home and Furniture scooped a platinum gong in the Entrepreneur in Furniture category while High Class Car Sales won a platinum gong in the Entrepreneur in Car Dealership category.

Camly Classic Fashions walked home with a silver medal in the Clothing and Accessories category.

Individuals like Ronald Moyo of High Class Car Sales won a platinum medal in the Young Entrepreneur Achievers with Evangelista Chekera scooping a platinum medal for being the best innovator.
