We drew some wisdom from Feli Nandi: Unveiled

Feli Nandi

FELI Nandi Chipendo released a new single titled Mubayei featurig Unveiled acapella group a few weeks ago that has been topping the chats on YouTube.

The song has rich visuals with great setting and deep emotional lyrical content which talks about regret, nostalgia and betrayal.

The Unveiled group’s spokesperson Ashley Mapfumo said working with Feli Nandi on the Mubayei project was an amazing experience as they got to learn from her.

“Working with Feli was amazing; we got to draw some wisdom from Feli. We recorded the song in one day including the harmonies and then everything else got arranged gradually,” he said

Not so long ago the group highlighted that some of the challenges they were facing included failing to get sponsorship for projects and being undervalued as upcoming artistes as they were being underplayed by fellow players in the industry. However the group said everything was in place for the Mubayei project.

“In this project (Mubayei) with Feli all things were in place and the recording went accordingly. We did not face any hurdles,” said Mapfumo.

The fast-growing acapella group released another single titled Warangarirwa Zimbabwe before the feature with award winning songstress.

The group has grown from doing mostly renditions to releasing original tracks and currently they are working on more projects which are to be released this year.

“We have more projects that we are working on and are coming out this year, including our first ever concert which is slated for the month of July,”said Mapfumo.

Fame and platform cannot be acquired overnight. However, through hard work and dedication the group is getting the necessary exposure as they also got a nomination on the Star FM awards as best duo or group for their song “hold on”.
