Willowvale Vehicle Body Engineering (WVBE), a company famously known for assembling buses and other vehicles, last week won an award in recognition of their contribution to the motor industry.
The company was awarded the best Project Management Company of the Year-Automotive Engineering by the Chartered Institute of Project Managers Zimbabwe (CIPMZ) at a colourful event held in Harare recently.
WVBE director Sylvester Matambo said they were elated by such recognition.
“For a young company, as Willowvale Vehicle Body Engineering, winning this award is a clear signal to the world that we have arrived somewhere and we are here to stay,” Matambo said.
“We are ready to meet the needs of our valued customers.
“Ours is a dynamic and innovative company in the manufacturing of buses, trailers that include tractor drawn tipping dump trailers, water bowsers and various transport equipment.”
WVBE is currently assembling buses for tertiary education institutions, high schools and companies among others thereby cutting the expenses of importing.
