SUNGURA ace Alick Macheso will hold his first show at the Andy Miller Hall after his tour of the United Kingdom.

Macheso is currently in the UK where he performed at the SAMA Festival organised by Y2K Entertainment.

The sungura musician alongside Jah Signal, Mambo Dhuterere, Selmor Mtukudzi, Baba Harare, Nox Guni and Winky D performed in the UK on Friday and yesterday.

Macheso will headline a family show at the Andy Miller Hall organised by F and G Promotions on April 23.

The family gig will start at 2pm with a variety of activities meant for kids and adults.

Philemon Jambaya of F and G Promotions said preparations for the show were at an advanced stage.

“All is set for the big day and as F and G, we are happy to be the ones welcoming the legendary Macheso from the UK where he was performing,” Jambaya said.

“We want the event to accommodate everyone, hence we have made it an afternoon event that also caters for kids and we will have more of these family shows each and every month.

“We have everyone ready for the show, as the organisers, partners as well as the supporting acts on the day.

Jambaya said they will also use the opportunity to expose new talent that has been hidden for some time due to Covid-19 which saw the halting of live shows.

“We will have new and upcoming artists using the stage to exhibit their talents,” he said.

The Madhau hit maker will be supported by Jean Masters, Madhuve Sasha and many other artists.
